Sentimental journeys

"Janów - now named Ivanofrakovia, was prospering city situated on the shore of beautiful lake, between canes and bulrushes, now is omitted village with renovated orthodox church placed beside drying and marshing reservoir on the road to Lviv (egz.). Couple of kilometers upon, just beside big factory of fertilizers, you can find moulding latin crosses. Next kilometers far away you will see ruins of a church in which the comunists had made a magazin of poisonous chemicals. The land is asking for a kind hand of a good farmer. The world has changed. Should it be forever? In Lithuania, the great poet Adomas Mickievicus (as it is proper in lithuanian ortography - egz.) is bowing from renewed monuments. Belarussia can be dangerous, if you don’t know how to behave, you can easily find an unpleasant suprise...

We offer every help in organising individual guided tours. We travel a lot to prior Polish lands [Kresy], we know Russian, Ukrainian, Czech and English languages, we can easily communicate in Lithuania, we organise safe accomodations and we respect regional traditions. Being genealogists we know where archives are being situated and sometimes even where are hidden metrical books. We have a lot of photography experiences and good equipment. We had a chance already to travel even to Syberia (f.e. Bajkal and Irkuck), after which there were some photography exhibitions with prelection organised. (egz.) We have also a lot of good friends in “Kresy”.

At home you have seen a photo of your great granfather from times when he was an emigrant or refugee and was looking for a job... You just know that he came from a small village somewhere in central Poland, with the name that is hard to pronunce. Are there somewhere siblings of your great grandfather living? Is his house still standing? What mean the soubriquet that he used? Why was he wearing a ring/signet?"

Living now in Poland we have a lot of experiences in living abroad (even more than one year) in States, Europe and Africa. We know well Poland and Polonia. We do speak fluently in English. We have organised a lot of trips for us and our friends, and the people who we met became our good friends for long.

We offer preparation and handling all individual comings to Poland and to Kresy. The accomodation that we propose have got all needed standards and certificates, we cooperate with hotels, castles and residences. We can easily organise family meetings. Journey with us can be very private or more sightseeing, also we can arrange accomodation in castles, manor-houses or old cottages. The most important is to prepare the prior genealogical and family research and to look for unknown and living relatives.
